TRANSFIX based in Toulon in the southeast of France since 1978, is an innovative company working with the latest state-of-the-art technology.
Transfix became the first French company in its field to be certified ISO by AFAQ, as soon as 1989. The company’s manufacturing facilities earned the ISO 9001 certification in 1992 and the V2000 version in 2002.
The 11.000 m² plant is well-equipped with research means (design aids covering safety, low-impact visual design and the quality of energy supply) and testing equipment including a Faraday cage, impact testing systems and various inspection tools.
TRANSFIX manufactures a wide range of dry and oil-immersed transformers with power ratings between 50 and 2500 kVA. Transfix has contributed to the recent trend towards the reduction in the size of compact substations.
The company also produces a range of more specialized items including : arc-suppressing coil, plinth-mounted and sealed transformers, trailer-mounted transformers for the emergency restoration of supply to consumers, ultra-safe equipment, self-protecting transformers, innovative compact substations and MV / LV switchboards.

The company POMMIER joined the MV division of the Cahors Group in 2000. Pommier has a 15.000 m² manufacturing facility in Bagnères-de-Bigorre in the Southwest of France. The company manufactures a wide range of equipment for underground MV networks, including the GRANY switchgear and control-gear equipment, which complements the MV products manufactured by Transfix and the rest of the Group.
