The Cahors Group is coordinating several research and development activities which include considerations for the protection of the environment. The quality system for all of the Group’s entities is certified in accordance with the international ISO 9001 standard.
The Group is setting up Quality Policies, adapted for each production unit, the objectives of which are defined in detail and given for all procedures. In this way, each company has its Quality Policy specific to its own activity.
The group is also taking part in the drawing up of European standards, in collaboration with the standards and certifying authorities.
The Environmental Approach
Since the beginning of the industrial activities of the Group, environmental management has been based on meeting all of the regulations concerned with the procedures and materials used.
The implementation of our environmental management system has been carried out in accordance with the ISO 14000 standard; the structure is based on the methods and procedures in accordance with this standard.
Meeting the regulations along with an active management of the environment allows the involvement of all of the Group’s internal and external players.
Each year, the Group devotes 7% of its annual revenue to Research and Development, and 3% of its annual revenue to the protection of the environment, which is included in its overall quality policy.
