Main Characteristics : |
TAPIR (Temporary Supply Transformer) has a 400kVA transformer, an equipment cabinet which includes a protection system and controls, as well as reels of MV and LV cable, all in a trailer, or fitted on the back of a truck.

Additional Features : |
Thanks to TAPIR, the transfer of a MV/LV transformer becomes possible without disconnection. More easy to handle and less noisy than a generator, TAPIR can remain in operation longer without disturbing the local residents. As a supplement to a generator, it can function as a step-up and supply a group of overhead insulated transformers from its source substation (integration of voltmeter protection against phase-earth faults adapted to neutral insulation).
