CAHORS provides MV equipment for the "M2 Tower"


Context and customer requierement

Measuring 165m tall, the M2 Tower will host the future headquarters of St Gobain in Courbevoie by 2019-2020. Designed by the Valode et Pistre architectural firm, this 38-floor glass tower will showcase the group’s international reach and its expertise. Future-focused and featuring sustainable design, the building will comply with applicable environmental standards. Each section will feature a garden, designed to bring well-being and greenery to the building’s occupants. In this context, ENGIE ordered CAHORS to provide Medium Voltage equipment.

CAHORS solutions

  • 11 HV/LV transformers and 1 dry-type zero sequence generator due to it being a high-rise building
  • 1 HVA supply substation, type: Grany
  • 1 HVA substation power unit, type: Grany
  • 3 HVA transformer substations, type: Grany
