Cahors designs and manufactures a range of 50 to 160 kVA transformers that meet reliability, safety, and energy efficiency requirements. The transformer for overhead networks can transform the HVA voltage level of the low voltage (MV/LV) distribution network. Used under normal operating conditions, these “pole-top” transformers are maintenance-free. By design, they have a high thermal inertia that allows them to support load cycles with significant power variations.
